The role is responsible for developing and automating test cases. They understand the internal workings of the software/product being tested. The incumbents have good programming skills and debug the code if required.

- They often write test scripts using scripting languages to automate test scenarios for checking the functionality and performance of the code.
- These professionals are involved with performance testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of the developed solution.

The QA Associate Director leads quality assurance strategy, managing and mentoring a team of QA professionals while driving innovation in functional and automation testing. This role establishes testing frameworks, collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders, and champions continuous improvement to ensure the reliability and maintainability of products and applications.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Own (Lead) the end-to-end testing tasks like scoping, estimation, planning, work allocation, resource management, test design & execution, defect management, progress tracking & status reporting, management reporting, UAT support, test closure etc.
Self-starter, highly organized; Works well with all functional levels in the organization; excellent presentation and interpersonal skills; high level of business management and facilitation skill; capability to resolve complex problems with minimum confusion, frustration, and inconveniences for all parties concerned.
