Technical Sales Head – Kerala (Construction Chemicals)
Job Summary
The Technical Sales Head will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with applicators, civil engineers, consultants, contractors, builders, and key project stakeholders across Kerala. The role focuses on driving business growth through technical engagement, project specification, customer retention, and providing construction chemical solutions that meet project requirements. The incumbent will act as the key link between the company and the construction ecosystem, ensuring brand preference and business development.
Key Responsibilities
Relationship Management & Business Development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with applicators, site engineers, project engineers, consultants, architects, contractors, and builders.
- Develop a strong network within the construction industry to generate project leads and business opportunities.
- Regularly visit project sites to engage with stakeholders and identify potential requirements.
- Promote the company's construction chemical solutions among influencers and decision-makers.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through continuous engagement and technical support.
Technical Sales & Project Support
- Provide technical recommendations and product solutions based on project requirements.
- Conduct product demonstrations, application trials, and technical presentations.
- Support applicators and engineers during product application and project execution.
- Resolve technical queries and application-related challenges at project sites.
- Coordinate with the technical team to ensure successful implementation of solutions.
Market Development
- Identify and track upcoming projects across Kerala.
- Conduct applicator meets, engineer meets, technical seminars, and product awareness programs.
- Increase brand visibility and preference among construction professionals.
- Develop and strengthen the applicator network for sustained business growth.
Sales Performance
- Achieve assigned sales and collection targets.
- Generate business through project specifications and relationship-driven sales.
- Monitor market activities and competitor developments.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and provide regular business updates.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Construction Chemicals, Building Materials, Waterproofing, Admixtures, or related industries.
- Strong network of applicators, engineers, consultants, contractors, and builders in Kerala.
- Excellent relationship management, communication, and technical presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Kerala.
