Cindrebay School of Design is looking for a Senior Graphic Designer with a strong visual sense, refined aesthetics, and the ability to create communication that is both beautiful and effective.
We are looking for someone who understands design, composition, colour, typography, branding and visual storytelling. The person should be able to create high-quality designs for an educational brand that works in the space of design, creativity and professional education.
Role
The Senior Graphic Designer will be responsible for developing visual communication for Cindrebay’s campaigns, social media, brochures, posters, advertisements, event promotions, course materials and brand-related creatives.
The designer must be able to think independently, understand the brief properly, and produce designs that look premium, fresh and suitable for a design school.
Key Responsibilities
Create high-quality visual designs for social media, print, outdoor, web and internal communication.
Develop posters, brochures, flyers, banners, hoardings, digital ads, presentations and campaign creatives.
Maintain and improve the visual quality of Cindrebay’s brand communication.
Work closely with the marketing, academic and management teams to understand campaign requirements.
Create designs for course promotions, admissions campaigns, campus events, workshops, exhibitions and student showcases.
Ensure consistency in logo usage, typography, colours and overall brand language.
Bring new design ideas, visual styles and creative directions for campaigns.
Prepare print-ready files and coordinate with printers/vendors when required.
Design social media creatives that are visually attractive and suitable for Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and other platforms.
Support photography, video, reels and content teams with design inputs where needed.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a brilliant designer, not just a software operator.
The candidate should have:
A strong sense of design, layout, typography and colour.
Good understanding of branding and visual communication.
Ability to create clean, attractive and premium-looking designs.
Strong working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and related design tools.
Understanding of social media design formats and digital campaign requirements.
Ability to work fast without compromising design quality.
Good visual judgement and attention to detail.
Ability to take feedback and refine designs maturely.
A portfolio showing strong design work is essential.
Experience in education, lifestyle, fashion, architecture, interiors, design or creative industries will be an added advantage.
Experience
Minimum 8–10 years of professional graphic design experience preferred.
Candidates with exceptional portfolios and strong design maturity may also be considered.
Location Requirement
The position is based at Cindrebay, Kozhikode.
The candidate must be willing to work from the Kozhikode office.
