We are looking for a proactive Network Engineer with 1 year of experience in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with LAN/WAN environments, routers, switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi networks, and basic network security.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network devices including routers, switches, access points, and firewalls.
- Monitor and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi network issues.
- Configure and manage TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and network security policies.
- Perform network performance monitoring and optimization.
- Diagnose and resolve connectivity, bandwidth, and network-related issues.
- Install and configure network cabling, patch panels, and structured cabling components.
- Support server connectivity and network infrastructure.
- Configure and maintain wireless networks and access points.
- Maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, and inventory records.
- Coordinate with ISPs and vendors for internet connectivity and network support.
- Provide technical support to end users for network-related issues.
- Ensure network security by implementing firewall rules, antivirus, and access controls.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and subnetting.
- Hands-on experience with routers, managed switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Basic understanding of Windows Server and Active Directory.
- Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Knowledge of network security best practices.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, or a related field.
- 1 year of experience as a Network Engineer or Network Support Engineer.
- Basic knowledge of Cisco, MikroTik, Fortinet, Sophos, or Ubiquiti networking devices is an added advantage.
- CCNA certification or equivalent knowledge is preferred.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
