Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Domestic Travel Consultant to assist clients in planning and booking travel within India. The ideal candidate should have good communication skills, knowledge of domestic destinations, and the ability to provide excellent customer service while achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities.
- Handle customer inquiries through calls, emails, WhatsApp, and social media.
- Assist clients in planning domestic holiday packages based on their requirements and budget.
- Book flights, hotels, transfers, sightseeing, and other travel services.
- Prepare customized travel itineraries and quotations.
- Coordinate with hotels, transport providers, and local vendors for smooth travel arrangements.
- Follow up with leads and convert inquiries into confirmed bookings.
- Provide accurate information about destinations, travel policies, and package inclusions.
- Resolve customer concerns before, during, and after travel.
- Maintain customer records and update CRM or booking systems.
- Achieve monthly sales and revenue targets.
- Stay updated on domestic tourism trends and promotional offers.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sales and negotiation abilities.
- Good knowledge of Indian tourist destinations.
- Proficiency in MS Office and travel booking portals/CRM systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or any related field.
- 0–3 years of experience in domestic travel sales or travel consulting (Freshers with good communication skills may also apply).
Preferred Experience
- Experience with domestic holiday package sales.
- Knowledge of flight and hotel booking systems.
- Experience in a travel agency or tour operator company is an advantage.
Salary
₹18,000 – ₹25,000 per month (Based on experience) + Incentives & Performance Bonus
