About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Junior SEO Executive to support our SEO team in improving organic search visibility and website performance. This role is ideal for someone who understands SEO fundamentals and is eager to learn and grow in digital marketing.
Responsibilities
- Perform keyword research and competitor analysis.
- Optimize on-page SEO elements including title tags, meta descriptions, headings, image alt tags, and internal linking.
- Create and execute white-hat backlink building strategies to improve domain authority and search rankings.
- Conduct guest post outreach and build relationships with website owners and publishers.
- Identify and acquire high-quality backlinks through guest posting, niche edits, business citations, resource pages, and digital PR opportunities.
- Monitor backlink profiles, identify toxic links, and maintain link quality.
- Publish and optimize website content using WordPress or other CMS platforms.
- Conduct basic technical SEO audits and report website issues.
- Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, and backlink performance using SEO tools.
- Monitor website performance using Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
- Prepare weekly and monthly SEO performance reports.
- Stay updated with Google's algorithm updates and SEO best practices.
Requirements
- 0–1 years of SEO experience (Freshers with practical SEO knowledge are welcome).
- Good understanding of On-page, Off-page, Technical SEO, and Link Building.
- Hands-on experience with backlink outreach, guest posting, or citation building is preferred.
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog, or Ubersuggest.
- Knowledge of Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
- Basic understanding of WordPress, HTML, and CSS.
- Strong communication skills for outreach and relationship building.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with AI content tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, etc.).
- Knowledge of local SEO.
- Familiarity with Screaming Frog or Sitebulb.
- Basic Excel or Google Sheets skills.
