Brief:
The HR Generalist will be managing and executing full spectrum of HR from recruitment, payroll support, learning and development, engagement, ensuring compliance with local India legal and company requirements. This HR Generalist will serve as a key member of the HR function, which is vital to the overall success of the organisation through effective recruitment strategies, efficient payroll processing and smooth sailing HR operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, from creating job descriptions to sourcing, screening, identifying effective job boards, conducting / coordinating interviews, making job offers, preparing offer letters and other documentations.
- Post job openings on selective job boards, social media platforms, community groups etc.
- Screen resumes and applications, conduct initial interviews, and assess candidate suitability that align with the culture, vision, mission and value of the company.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between hiring managers and candidates.
- Assist in developing recruitment strategies to meet staffing needs and attract top talent.
- Negotiate and extend job offers, including salary and benefits packages.
- Maintain an updated database of candidates and recruitment activities.
Payroll Support and Administration
- Ensure the employee attendance and leave application records are maintained and updated from time to time.
- Identify opportunities for streamlining payroll processes which align with Group HR (HQ) and implementing best practices.
- Stay updated on Indian labour laws, tax regulations, and government policies affecting payroll.
- Ensure accurate and timely filing of government remittances other statutory contributions.
- Assist in audits related to payroll compliance and reporting.
- Work closely with Group HR on every HR matter, manpower planning and comply with Group Policy as well as Labour Laws.
- Manage and update employee data in the payroll system, including new hire information, salary adjustments, and terminations.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of payroll information.
- Manage employee performance appraisal, performance issues and misconducts.
- Handle staff welfare matters; conduct exit interview, analyze the data and define action plans for retention.
- Work closely with line managers; guiding them in understanding the policies and ensuring policies and procedures are conformed by all employees.
- Drive problem solving, continuous improvement projects and any other initiatives as assigned.
- Manage office administrations.
- Other ad-hoc tasks relating to HR and Administrations.
Requirements:
- Min 2-3 years of experience in HR Generalist role, with a focus on recruitment, payroll administration and engagement.
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and employment compliance.
- Experience in sourcing, interviewing, and hiring candidates for various roles.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy, particularly with payroll calculations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HRIS/payroll systems.
- Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Pay: ₹66,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
