Site supervisor Job description: A Site Supervisor for solar plant installation is responsible for overseeing the entire installation process, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion of the project. Site Supervision & Execution Oversee the installation of solar panels, inverters, and other system components. Ensure the work is carried out according to engineering drawings and standards. Coordinate with technicians, electricians, and subcontractors. 2. Quality Control & Compliance Ensure adherence to industry standards (IEC, BIS, MNRE guidelines). Conduct inspections and quality checks at different stages of installation. Maintain proper documentation for audits and approvals. 3. Safety Management Enforce site safety measures and ensure compliance with regulations. Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings for the team. 4. Material & Resource Management Manage inventory, tools, and materials required for installation. Coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams for timely material delivery. 5. Reporting & Coordination Provide daily progress reports to project managers. Address site challenges and troubleshoot installation issues. Liaise with clients, engineers, and government officials when required. Required Skills & Qualifications: Diploma/B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering. Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, electrical wiring, and structural mounting. Ability to read technical drawings and schematics. Familiarity with safety protocols and site management.
