We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead our HVAC Sales and Business Development function. The incumbent will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and securing HVAC projects across commercial, industrial, institutional, and residential sectors.
The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems along with extensive experience in project sales, client acquisition, tendering, and contract negotiations within the HVAC industry. Candidates with strong professional experience at Reliance Industries will be preferred.
Qualifications:-
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 8–15 years of relevant experience in HVAC Sales and Business Development.
- Demonstrated success in securing and managing HVAC projects.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, applications, and industry practices.
- Experience in dealing with consultants, contractors, developers, and corporate clients.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple opportunities and client relationships.
- Strong commercial acumen with a customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business development initiatives to achieve sales and revenue objectives.
- Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities across target markets.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with consultants, architects, developers, contractors, PMC firms, and end clients.
- Analyze project requirements and provide appropriate HVAC solutions aligned with client needs.
- Lead technical and commercial discussions with prospective clients and stakeholders.
- Prepare and review proposals, quotations, tenders, and commercial submissions.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to project closure.
- Coordinate closely with estimation, engineering, procurement, and project execution teams to ensure seamless project handover.
- Monitor market developments, competitor activities, and emerging business opportunities.
- Participate in industry events, client meetings, and networking activities to strengthen market presence.
- Ensure achievement of assigned sales targets, profitability objectives, and business growth plans.
- Maintain regular sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and management updates.
Technical Knowledge:-
Candidates must possess sound knowledge of:
- VRF / VRV Systems
- Chillers and Central Air Conditioning Systems
- AHU, FCU, and Ventilation Systems
- HVAC Project Sales and Execution
- Ducting and Air Distribution Systems
- HVAC Equipment Selection
- Tendering and Costing Processes
- MEP Coordination and Project Lifecycle Management.
