Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and perform corrective maintenance.
Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
Read and interpret HVAC drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
Perform testing, balancing, and commissioning of HVAC systems.
Supervise and guide junior technicians and trainees during project and maintenance activities.
Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements or replacements when required.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company procedures.
Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and clients regarding maintenance and project requirements.
Maintain accurate service records, maintenance logs, and technical reports.
Respond to emergency breakdowns and minimize equipment downtime.
Inspect completed work to ensure quality and operational standards are achieved.
Manage tools, materials, and spare parts required for maintenance activities.
Assist in planning maintenance schedules and resource allocation.
Requirements
ITI, Diploma, or Technical Certification in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration, or a related field.
Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Strong knowledge of air conditioning, ventilation, refrigeration systems, and HVAC controls.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and equipment manuals.
Excellent troubleshooting and fault-diagnosis skills.
Knowledge of HVAC safety standards and maintenance procedures.
Strong communication and team leadership abilities.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple maintenance tasks.
