Your Mission
You will be responsible for driving the overall sales growth of our Solar Energy Division by taking end-to-end ownership of business development, revenue generation, team building, and sales operations.
This is not just a managerial role, it is a leadership position for someone who is passionate about building a high-performing sales organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Take complete ownership of sales and business development activities across residential, commercial, and industrial solar projects.
- Generate qualified business opportunities through direct sales, networking, strategic partnerships, and innovative lead generation initiatives.
- Recruit, mentor, train, and manage Sales Consultants, Business Development Executives, and Channel Partners.
- Develop and expand dealer, distributor, channel partner, and referral networks.
- Plan and execute sales campaigns in close coordination with the marketing team.
- Create innovative sales strategies and think beyond conventional approaches to accelerate business growth.
- Drive revenue generation while ensuring healthy sales margins and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct client meetings, technical discussions, site visits, and project presentations.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, commercial offers, and negotiate contracts.
- Build long-term relationships with customers, architects, builders, industries, institutions, and corporate clients.
- Monitor daily sales activities, prepare reports, review KPIs, forecast sales, and implement improvement plans.
- Coordinate with internal technical, procurement, and project execution teams for seamless project delivery.
- Build a performance-driven sales culture focused on accountability, discipline, and continuous improvement.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who believes "If it has to happen, I'll make it happen."
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in Business Development, Sales Leadership, or Solar Energy Sales.
- Demonstrated success in achieving ambitious sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Experience managing field sales teams and building high-performing sales organizations.
- Strong expertise in lead generation, business development, sales strategy, and customer acquisition.
- Ability to independently identify opportunities and convert them into profitable business.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong planning, reporting, CRM, and sales pipeline management abilities.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the confidence to take ownership and deliver results.
- Experience in the Solar, Electrical, Energy, EPC, Building Materials, or Infrastructure sectors will be highly preferred.
- Knowledge of rooftop solar systems, government subsidy schemes, and renewable energy solutions will be an added advantage.
- Valid Driving Licence and own vehicle are mandatory for business travel.
