Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Oracle Functional Consultant – Warehouse Management System (WMS) to design, configure, and implement Oracle WMS solutions (EBS or Cloud). The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to optimize warehouse operations, including inventory management, picking, packing, and shipping processes.
Key Responsibilities1. Solution Design & Configuration
- Configure Oracle WMS modules including:
- Warehouse structure and layouts
- Rules and strategies
- LPN (License Plate Number) management
- Task management and execution
- Align system design with business and operational requirements
2. Requirements Gathering & Analysis
- Conduct workshops with business users to gather requirements
- Perform fit-gap analysis and recommend optimal solutions
- Prepare functional specification documents for RICEW components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows)
3. Implementation & Testing
- Drive end-to-end implementation lifecycle phases:
- Conference Room Pilot (CRP)
- System Integration Testing (SIT)
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Ensure system readiness and resolve defects during testing phases
4. Integration & Cross-Module Coordination
- Work on integrations between Oracle WMS and other modules:
- Inventory (INV)
- Order Management (OM)
- Transportation Management (TMS)
- Support integrations with warehouse automation systems such as:
- RF devices
- Conveyors
- Robotics
5. Deployment & Support
- Support go-live planning and execution (cutover activities)
- Provide post-production support and issue resolution
- Ensure smooth warehouse operations after implementation
Required Skills & QualificationsExperience
- 3 to 10 years of experience in Oracle WMS implementations (EBS or Cloud)
- Proven experience in at least one end-to-end implementation
Functional Expertise
- Strong understanding of:
- Warehouse management processes (inbound & outbound logistics)
- Inventory management
- Picking, packing, and shipping workflows
- Experience with RF scanning and warehouse automation
Module Knowledge
- Hands-on experience with:
- Oracle WMS
- Oracle Inventory (INV)
- Purchasing
- Shipping Execution
Technical Understanding
- Basic knowledge of Oracle WMS data model and key tables
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams for integrations and customizations
