Job Summary
The EV Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Ather electric scooters. The role involves performing scheduled services, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, ensuring quality repairs, and maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform periodic maintenance and repair of electric scooters.
· Diagnose electrical, electronic, software, and mechanical faults.
· Conduct battery, motor, controller, and charging system inspections.
· Carry out warranty repairs and service campaigns as assigned.
· Test ride vehicles before and after repairs to ensure quality.
· Maintain service records and complete job cards accurately.
· Follow safety procedures and workshop standards.
· Ensure timely completion of assigned jobs.
· Support service advisors in technical clarification and customer issue resolution.
Qualifications
· ITI / Diploma in Automobile, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related field.
· 0–3 years of experience in two-wheeler, automobile, or EV service.
· Freshers with relevant technical qualifications can apply.
· Valid two-wheeler driving license preferred.
Required Skills
· Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
· Basic understanding of EV technology and diagnostics.
· Troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
· Ability to use service tools and diagnostic equipment.
· Attention to detail and quality-focused approach.
