About the Role
We are looking for a Semi-Qualified CA to join our Statutory Audit team. The candidate will be responsible for assisting in statutory audit assignments and working closely with senior team members across various client engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and execution of Statutory Audit assignments.
- Perform audit procedures including vouching, verification, and substantive testing.
- Review financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Assist in preparation and maintenance of audit working papers and documentation.
- Perform analytical review of financial data and identify unusual transactions or variances.
- Assist in audits under the Companies Act, 2013 and applicable Ind AS/Accounting Standards.
- Support seniors in preparation of audit reports and management letters.
- Coordinate with clients to obtain required information and documentation.
- Assist in identifying accounting and internal control issues and communicate observations to seniors.
- Ensure audit assignments are completed within defined timelines.
Requirements
- CA Inter / Semi-Qualified CA with relevant Statutory Audit exposure.
- Candidates who have completed their CA Articleship will be preferred.
- Good understanding of Accounting Standards, Ind AS, Companies Act, and Auditing Standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/audit software is an advantage.
