Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Area Sales Manager to lead sales operations across the assigned territory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding the distributor network, strengthening customer relationships, and ensuring excellent market execution. Candidates with experience in the beverages or FMCG industry are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Develop and execute territory sales plans to maximize revenue and market share.
- Appoint, manage, and motivate distributors, stockists, and retailers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and key accounts.
- Increase product availability, visibility, and market penetration across the assigned territory.
- Monitor primary and secondary sales performance and implement corrective actions when required.
- Lead, train, and supervise Sales Officers and Sales Representatives.
- Conduct regular market visits to monitor competitor activities, pricing, and customer feedback.
- Plan and execute trade promotions, product launches, and merchandising activities.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and adherence to company credit policies.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence.
- Coordinate with supply chain and operations teams to maintain product availability.
