Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Final Inspection & Engineering Documentation professional to join our Quality team. The candidate will be responsible for conducting final inspection of machined/manufactured components, verifying dimensions against engineering drawings and maintaining accurate quality and inspection documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform final inspection of components as per engineering drawings and inspection standards.
- Check dimensions, tolerances, surface finish and other specified requirements.
- Handle and use precision measuring instruments correctly.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions and tolerances.
- Verify inspection results and identify dimensional deviations/non-conformities.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports and quality records.
- Maintain engineering and inspection documentation systematically.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality and Engineering teams regarding inspection issues.
- Support documentation related to first-off, final and in-process inspection.
- Maintain proper traceability of inspection records.
- Use MS Office, particularly Excel and Word, for quality documentation and reports.
- Ensure inspection activities are carried out according to company quality procedures.
Mandatory Skills
- Good knowledge of precision measuring instruments.
- Good engineering drawing reading ability.
- Understanding of dimensions and tolerances.
- Good documentation and record-maintenance skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
- Good observation and analytical skills.
- Ability to identify dimensional and quality-related issues.
Instruments / Equipment Knowledge
Candidates should have practical knowledge of instruments such as:
- Vernier Caliper
- Outside Micrometer
- Inside Micrometer
- Height Gauge
- Bore Gauge
- Depth Gauge
- Dial Gauge
- Thread Gauges
- Plug/Ring Gauges
- Other precision inspection instruments
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 2 years of relevant Quality/Inspection experience.
- Candidates should have practical experience in final inspection and engineering documentation.
- Candidates must be comfortable working with engineering drawings and measuring instruments.
- Freshers are not eligible.
Preferred Industry Experience
Experience in CNC machining / machine shop / manufacturing / engineering components / precision inspection will be preferred.

The ideal candidate should be technically strong in inspection, careful with measurements and documentation, and capable of working independently while coordinating effectively with Production and Engineering teams.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
