AI Marketing and Growth Manager
Department: Marketing Reports to: VP Marketing Location: Remote Type: Full-time
About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on AI Marketing and Growth Manager to take ownership of the technical, automation, and performance backbone of our marketing function, with a singular focus: measurable lead generation. This is a builder's role, not a purely supervisory one. The right person personally executes across website performance, AI tooling, paid performance, and analytics, while coordinating our WordPress and DevOps teams to drive consistent, measurable lead generation outcomes and workflow optimization.
You will sit at the intersection of marketing, engineering, and AI. You should be equally comfortable debugging a Core Web Vitals issue, building an automated blog pipeline with AI agents, running a paid campaign, and reading attribution data across GA4 and Search Console—all in service of converting those efforts into qualified leads.
Key ResponsibilitiesWebsite Technical Health and Performance
- Own the technical health of the website and supporting infrastructure.
- Coordinate with the DevOps team to ensure uptime, stability, and smooth site operations.
- Manage and direct the WordPress development team to deliver optimal results across site speed, publishing speed, performance, and Core Web Vitals.
- Ensure AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) compliance and a strong technical SEO foundation.
- Maintain a working knowledge of the WordPress environment, themes, plugins, and common performance pitfalls.
AI Tooling and Automation
- Design, build, and deploy automated workflows and AI-based tools, either from scratch or by combining existing platforms, to optimize and automate team tasks.
- Identify bottlenecks across audits, content, design, and operations, and solve them through automation, AI, vibe coding, or any practical approach.
- Build systems such as automated page audits, automated blog production, and automated design workflows.
- Create or source on-demand tools for specific problem statements as they arise.
Prompt Engineering and LLM Execution
- Use prompt engineering across multiple LLMs to solve significant website and execution challenges.
- Stay current with model capabilities and select the right model and approach for each problem.
Paid Performance Marketing and Lead Generation
- Plan and run paid performance marketing campaigns, applying AI where it improves efficiency and output.
- Own lead generation outcomes and continuously optimize toward target volume and quality.
Digital Marketing and Analytics
- Apply working knowledge of SEO, PPC, and social media across channels.
- Analyze data from GA4, Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, Semrush, Screaming Frog, and related tools to inform decisions.
- Translate data into clear actions that improve traffic, conversions, and lead flow.
Tracking, Attribution, and CRO
- Implement and manage UTMs, link tracking, and tag management (for example Google Tag Manager).
- Map and analyze the full user journey from first interaction to lead.
- Apply Conversion Rate Optimization techniques to diagnose drop-off points and identify root causes of lost conversions.
Brand and Design Consistency
- Maintain a consistent brand identity across all marketing assets.
- Ensure design and development processes stay aligned so the brand reads as seamless across touchpoints.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven, hands-on experience across marketing technology, growth, and automation.
- Strong command of the WordPress environment and the ability to direct a web dev team toward performance goals.
- Practical experience building AI tools and automated workflows, including comfort with vibe coding or low-code or no-code approaches.
- Strong prompt engineering skills and fluency with multiple LLMs.
- Experience running paid performance campaigns with clear accountability for lead generation.
- Solid grounding in SEO, PPC, and social media.
- Proficiency with GA4, Google Search Console, Semrush, Screaming Frog, and similar tools.
- Hands-on experience with UTMs, tag management, attribution, user journey analysis, and CRO.
- An eye for design systems and brand consistency.
- A builder's mindset: able to find or create the right tool for any problem statement.
Nice to Have
- Background spanning both engineering and marketing.
- Experience in a technology, blockchain, Web3, or AI services company.
- Familiarity with marketing and CRM integrations (for example HubSpot).
What Success Looks Like
- Consistent, measurable lead generation hitting or exceeding targets, with clear attribution across all channels and campaigns.
- The website is fast, stable, AEO compliant, and technically sound—serving as a high-converting asset for lead capture.
- Repetitive team tasks are automated, freeing the team to focus on higher-value work that directly impacts lead generation and funnel optimization.
- Paid campaigns consistently generate qualified leads at target cost per acquisition.
- Marketing decisions are driven by clean, well-tracked data and clear attribution that shows lead flow from interaction to close.
- The brand stays consistent and the marketing-to-engineering handoff is seamless, resulting in a cohesive user experience that converts.
