Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and other facility-related systems to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repair work for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
- Inspect equipment and identify maintenance issues or safety hazards.
- Attend breakdown complaints and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Conduct preventive maintenance as per the maintenance schedule.
- Ensure proper functioning of generators, pumps, lighting, air conditioning, and other equipment.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities and repair work.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers when required.
- Ensure workplace safety and follow company maintenance procedures.
- Support installation of new equipment and machinery.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper handling of tools and equipment.
Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle maintenance tools and equipment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and in shifts if required.
Qualification:
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or relevant technical field.
Experience:
- 1–4 years of experience in maintenance, engineering, hotel, facility management, or related industry.
Salary:
- As per company standards and experience.
