Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Site HR Executive to manage day-to-day HR and administrative activities at our project site in Gandhinagar. The ideal candidate should have experience in handling workforce management, statutory compliance, employee engagement, attendance, onboarding, and coordination between the Head Office and site operations. The role requires excellent communication, problem-solving abilities, and the capability to work independently in a site environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete employee lifecycle at the project site, including joining formalities, induction, transfers, and exit procedures.
- Maintain employee attendance, leave records, overtime, and shift schedules.
- Coordinate with the Head Office for payroll inputs, employee documentation, and HR-related activities.
- Ensure timely collection and maintenance of employee records, including KYC documents, educational certificates, and statutory forms.
- Support recruitment activities for site manpower requirements and coordinate interviews with the Head Office HR team.
- Handle employee grievances and maintain healthy employee relations at the site.
- Ensure compliance with company HR policies, labour laws, and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with contractors regarding manpower deployment and statutory compliance.
- Maintain updated records related to contract labour, attendance, and workforce deployment.
- Conduct employee induction and orientation programs for newly joined employees.
- Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and welfare initiatives.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly HR reports and submit them to the Head Office.
- Coordinate with the Site In-Charge, Project Manager, and other departments for manpower planning and operational support.
- Ensure discipline, workplace safety awareness, and adherence to company policies.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of HR operations and site HR management.
- Familiarity with labour laws, Contract Labour Act, and statutory compliance.
- Experience in attendance management and payroll coordination.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to resolve employee grievances professionally.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and HR documentation.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a project/site environment.
- Experience in manpower planning and contractor coordination is preferred.
Qualifications
- MBA (HR), MSW, BBA (HR), or any Graduate with relevant HR experience.
- Additional certification in Labour Laws or HR Management will be an advantage.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in Site HR, Industrial HR, Construction HR, Engineering Projects, or Operations & Maintenance industries.
- Experience in handling contractual manpower and site workforce management is preferred.
Preferred Candidate
- Experience in Heavy Engineering, Infrastructure, EPC, Construction, or O&M Projects.
- Knowledge of labour law compliance, contractor management, and statutory documentation.
- Willingness to work from the project site at Gandhinagar.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
