Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Executive with Tally experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling our books and media products, managing customer relationships, and ensuring smooth financial transactions using Tally.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
- Promote and sell books and other media products to retail outlets, institutions, and online platforms.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and distributors.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
- Participate in book fairs, exhibitions, and other promotional events.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Provide excellent customer service and follow up on inquiries.
- Handle customer orders, complaints, and feedback effectively.
- Maintain a database of clients and regularly update sales records.
Tally & Accounts Management:
- Process invoices, payments, and financial transactions using Tally Prime Edit
- Maintain accurate sales records and generate reports.
- Coordinate with the accounts team for stock and payment reconciliation.
- Ensure timely collection of payments from customers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proficiency English (Required)
- Minimum One year of sales experience, preferably in the publishing or media industry.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with e-commerce and online sales platforms.
- Working knowledge of inventory management and GST compliance
