Overview
The Marketing Automation Traffic Manager is an integral part of The Marketing Studio, Gallagher’s in-house agency. responsible for managing the intake, resourcing, routing, and prioritization of requests across our marketing divisions. This position partners closely with Account Management, Project Management, divisional stakeholders, and internal team members to ensure work is properly scoped, resourced, and tracked from submission through completion.
With a strong background in traffic management and project coordination, this role supports the efficient flow of work through the Marketing Automation team by reviewing incoming requests, validating readiness criteria and required information to begin work, aligning expectations with Project Managers, and directing tasks to the appropriate resources. This position is essential to maintain organized workflows, supporting SLA and quality delivery adherence, and ensuring work progresses smoothly and on time.
How you'll make an impact
Responsibilities:

Manages traffic flow of new and in-flight marketing automation requests across multiple divisions, including journey/nurture programs, triggered and drip email programs, targeted emails/invitations, lead generation programs, and customer acquisition and retention initiatives. For non-marketing email sends, this role manages the intake and end-to-end project management responsibilities.

Reviews incoming marketing automation Workfront requests for readiness, validates required information is included and appropriate to complete the request, proactively works with Account Services team to ensure clarity before work is assigned and provides proactive solutions to meet delivery timing and quality expectations.

Validates content, documentation and global/regional marketing email compliance requirements and best practices are being met, keeping Workfront project brief and team up to date with scope requirements or changes, documenting project delays consistently and ensuring project documents and data process is followed.

Prioritizes, resources and routes requests appropriately based on scope, urgency, team capacity, and established SLAs.

Proactively communicates with Account Services to mitigate project timing risks and reset expectations if needed, as well as managing available resources as required to meet or revise timelines.

Monitors active requests and task flow to ensure predecessor and successor tasks are properly sequenced, resourced and projects remain on track.

Identifies opportunities to improve traffic management and resourcing processes and workflow efficiency while continuing to meet or exceed internal SLAs.

Coordinates across time zones as needed to support timely request handling and project movement.
About you
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

5+ years of project management experience, including at least 3 year supporting marketing projects or traffic coordination.

Experience with Adobe Workfront is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is strongly preferred.
- Previous experience with a CRM system such as Salesforce.

Strong understanding of traffic and project management, intake and resource coordination, and delivery prioritization.

Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams and levels of the organization.

Detail-oriented, self-motivated team player with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

Fluency in English with strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
