Role Overview
Velammal Engineering College is seeking an experienced and dynamic academic leader to serve as the Professor & Head of Department for the Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) department, with a specialized focus on Cyber Security.
Qualifications
Education: B.E./B.Tech and M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering / Information Technology / Cyber Security or an equivalent relevant discipline, with First Class.
Mandatory Requirement: PhD in the relevant field.
Compliance: Qualifications and experience must be in accordance with AICTE / Anna University norms.
Required Experience
Minimum 10–15 years of teaching/research/industry experience, including experience at the Associate Professor level.
Strong research credentials, including publications in SCI/Scopus-indexed journals.
Proven track record in guiding PhD scholars, securing funded research projects, consultancy, and academic leadership.
