Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CNC Machine Operator to operate CNC Turning, VMC, or Milling machines for precision component manufacturing. The candidate will be responsible for machine operation, quality inspection, maintaining production targets, and ensuring safe working practices on the shop floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines as per production plan and work instructions
- Load raw materials and unload finished components
- Perform tool offset corrections and basic machine adjustments
- Monitor machine operations to ensure smooth production
- Inspect components using measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, and Bore Gauge
- Read and understand engineering drawings and process sheets
- Maintain dimensional accuracy and product quality standards
- Record production and inspection data accurately
- Identify and report machine abnormalities or quality issues
- Follow safety procedures, 5S standards, and company policies
- Coordinate with Quality and Maintenance departments when required
Educational Qualification
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant Experience
Experience
- 1 to 5 years of experience in CNC machine operation
- Freshers with CNC training may also apply
Required Skills
- Knowledge of CNC Turning / VMC / Milling operations
- Basic understanding of G-Code and M-Code
- Ability to use measuring instruments
- Knowledge of engineering drawing interpretation
- Good attention to detail and quality awareness
- Ability to work in rotational shifts
Preferred Knowledge
- Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi CNC Controllers
- Auto component or precision machining industry experience
