We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Stock Manager to oversee and maintain our digital inventory records. The ideal candidate should have strong data entry, inventory management, and organizational skills to ensure accurate stock tracking and smooth warehouse operations.
Job Summary
The Stock Manager will be responsible for maintaining accurate digital records of inventory, monitoring stock movement, updating stock management systems, coordinating with warehouse staff, and ensuring inventory data is always up to date. The role requires excellent attention to detail, computer proficiency, and the ability to maintain accurate inventory records that support efficient business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update digital stock records accurately in the inventory management system.
- Record all stock inward and outward transactions on a daily basis.
- Monitor inventory levels and report low-stock or excess-stock situations to management.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to verify physical stock against digital records.
- Ensure all stock entries are accurate and completed on time.
- Generate stock reports and inventory summaries for management.
- Maintain proper documentation of stock receipts, transfers, and dispatches.
- Identify and report inventory discrepancies or stock variances.
- Coordinate with purchasing and sales departments regarding stock availability.
- Assist in periodic stock audits and physical inventory verification.
- Ensure proper filing and maintenance of inventory-related documents.
- Support management in improving stock control processes and inventory accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Commerce, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Previous experience in inventory management, stock handling, or data entry will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of inventory management practices and MS Excel.
- Strong computer and data entry skills.
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities.
