Job Summary
The Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, maintenance, safety, and administration of residential, commercial, or mixed-use properties. The role ensures that all facilities are maintained to the highest standards, statutory compliances are met, and occupants receive quality facility management services.
Key ResponsibilitiesFacility Operations & Maintenance
- Manage the overall maintenance of buildings, common areas, and infrastructure.
- Ensure smooth functioning of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, DG sets, elevators, STP/WTP, and other utility systems.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance activities.
- Monitor asset performance and coordinate repairs as required.
Vendor & Contract Management
- Identify, appoint, and manage facility service vendors and contractors.
- Monitor vendor performance against service level agreements (SLAs).
- Verify contractor bills and ensure timely payments.
- Negotiate contracts for cost optimization and service improvements.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, safety standards, and local authority requirements.
- Conduct periodic safety audits and risk assessments.
- Maintain fire safety systems and coordinate emergency preparedness drills.
- Ensure all licenses, permits, and certifications are valid and renewed on time.
Budgeting & Cost Control
- Prepare and manage annual facility budgets.
- Monitor operating expenses and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Track utility consumption and optimize resource utilization.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports and expense analysis.
Housekeeping & Security Management
- Supervise housekeeping, security, pest control, landscaping, and other support services.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards across the property.
- Monitor security operations, access control systems, and CCTV surveillance.
Tenant / Occupant Management
- Address tenant complaints and service requests promptly.
- Coordinate fit-out activities and move-in/move-out processes.
- Maintain positive tenant relationships and ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Conduct regular meetings with tenants and stakeholders.
Team Management
- Lead and supervise facility staff, technicians, and support personnel.
- Allocate duties and monitor team performance.
- Conduct training programs on safety and operational procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Facility Management certifications will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in Facility Management, Property Management, or Real Estate Operations.
- Experience managing commercial buildings, residential communities, IT parks, malls, or mixed-use developments.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing).

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
