We are looking for a Head of HR to lead our people function, oversee a small HR team (HR Manager + HR Executive) and work closely with the Founders and Business Head. The role is strongly focused on building culture, improving retention and running day‑to‑day HR operations, including policies, approvals and people processes for our Gurgaon office.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, coach and manage the HR team (HR Manager and HR Executive) to deliver a high‑quality HR service to all departments.
- Own company culture and engagement initiatives; drive programs that improve employee experience, morale and retention.
- Partner closely with Founders and Business Head on manpower planning, organisation structure, and people decisions.
- Oversee end‑to‑end HR operations: onboarding, documentation, confirmations, exits and HRIS data accuracy.
- Handle leave and attendance approvals, ensure discipline and adherence to time & attendance policies.
- Design, implement and periodically update HR policies, SOPs and employee handbooks aligned with company values and legal requirements.
- Set up and maintain trackers and dashboards for headcount, attendance, recruitment, confirmations, performance cycles and other HR metrics.
- Drive performance management cycles with managers: goal‑setting, reviews, feedback and development plans.
- Act as a first escalation point for employee relations issues, ensuring fair and timely resolution in line with policy.
- Ensure statutory and legal compliance related to HR (PF, ESIC, gratuity, POSH, etc.) in coordination with finance and external partners where required.
Required skills and qualifications
- 3–4 years of overall HR experience.
- Prior experience managing and mentoring a small HR team.
- Strong grounding in HR operations, policies, compliance and performance management.
- Proven track record in driving culture, engagement and retention initiatives in a growing organisation.
- Comfortable working closely with founders/senior leadership and participating in business discussions and decisions.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem‑solving skills.

- Location: Gurgaon (Gurugram), Haryana – fully on‑site role.
- Employment type: Full‑time.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
