Job Summary:
Rasayana Fine Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a proactive and technically competent R&D Assistant Manager to support research, product development, and process optimization activities. The successful candidate will work closely with the R&D Head and cross-functional teams to develop innovative products, improve manufacturing processes, and ensure smooth technology transfer to production.
Key Responsibilities
- Support research and development projects from laboratory to commercial scale.
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for aroma and specialty chemicals.
- Plan and execute laboratory experiments and pilot-scale trials.
- Analyze experimental data and prepare technical reports.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality Control, Purchase, and Marketing teams.
- Prepare SOPs, batch records, process validation reports, and technical documentation.
- Investigate process deviations and recommend corrective actions.
- Support new product development and technology transfer.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
- Guide junior R&D staff and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Experience in Aroma Chemicals, Fragrance & Flavour, Essential Oils, or Specialty Chemicals is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of organic synthesis, process development, and laboratory operations.
- Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
