Job Description Assess students to identify learning, behavioral, emotional, or developmental needs
- Develop, implement, and regularly review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Adapt teaching methods, materials, and assessments to meet diverse learning needs
- Provide one-on-one and small-group instruction
- Use evidence-based strategies to support learning and behavior management
- Monitor and document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, counselors, and administrators
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and needs
- Support students in developing social skills, independence, and self-confidence
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
- Stay updated with best practices, policies, and legal requirements in special education
RequirementsQualification
D.Ed. / B.Ed Special Education
- Knowledge of special needs and disabilities
- IEP planning and implementation
- Adaptive teaching skills
- Student assessment and monitoring
- Behavior and classroom management
