Job Title: Production Manager – (Offset Printing & Packaging)
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead overall production activities in our printing and packaging unit. The role requires strong expertise in managing operations, ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery while effectively utilizing manpower, machines, and materials. Candidates must have hands-on knowledge of Kamori Machine, Heidelberg Machine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute daily/weekly production schedules.
- Supervise printing, finishing, and packaging operations.
- Ensure product quality as per customer requirements.
- Optimize material usage, reduce wastage, and enhance productivity.
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Purchase, and Dispatch teams.
- Lead, train, and motivate production supervisors and operators.
- Implement safety measures, 5S, and ISO/GMP practices.
- Prepare production reports and monitor costs.
- Drive process improvements and machine efficiency.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of Offset, Flexo, Gravure or similar printing technologies.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Expertise in production planning and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Lean, TPM, and process optimization techniques.
Qualification & Experience:
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Printing, Packaging, Mechanical, or Production Engineering.
- 10–15 years of experience in printing & packaging, with 7-8+ years in a senior production role.
