The Sr. Sales Manager at Tanishq is responsible for overseeing daily showroom
operations, driving sales performance, delivering exceptional customer experience,
managing team productivity, and ensuring adherence to brand standards. The role
demands strong leadership skills, deep jewellery product knowledge, and a passion for
luxury retail excellence.
Key Responsibilities
1 Sales And Target Achievement
- Drive individual and team sales targets (monthly & annual).
- Monitor floor performance and conversion ratios.
- Ensure effective upselling and cross-selling of gold, diamond, and bridal collections.
- Support achievement of Average Ticket Size (ATS) and revenue KPIs.
2 Customer Experience And; Relationship Management
- Deliver premium and personalized customer service.
- Handle high-value customers and bridal consultations.
- Resolve escalated customer concerns effectively.
- Build long-term client relationships and ensure repeat business.
3 Team Supervision and Leadership
- Supervise Sales Executives and Customer Service staff on the floor.
- Conduct daily briefings and performance reviews.
- Coach team on product knowledge, diamond certification, and selling techniques.
- Ensure grooming and presentation standards are maintained.
4 Visual Merchandising and Store Presentation
-Ensure jewellery displays are attractive, secure, and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Coordinate promotional setups and festive campaigns.
- Monitor cleanliness, lighting, and overall showroom ambiance.
5 Inventory and Compliance
- Support stock audits and daily inventory checks.
- Ensure adherence to security and loss-prevention policies.
- Coordinate with back-office for stock replenishment.
- Maintain documentation and billing accuracy.
6 Operations and Reporting
- Prepare daily sales reports and performance dashboards.
- Monitor footfall data and conversion metrics.
- Assist Store Manager in achieving store profitability targets.
