The Technical SEO & AEO Lead for The Printers Mysore Limited is responsible for architecting a high-performance digital ecosystem that scales organic traffic from Google News, Yahoo, and Bing across iconic brands like Deccan Herald and Prajavani. This role shifts from traditional keyword optimization to a sophisticated technical strategy involving Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), where the lead implements advanced Schema markups and semantic data modeling to ensure content is highly discoverable by both search crawlers and AI answer engines. Beyond technical infrastructure and site audits, the role requires close collaboration with Editorial and Engineering teams to manage large-scale project implementations, track deep-funnel analytics, and maintain a competitive edge through rigorous competitor analysis and authoritative link-building.
Qualifications & Experience
Academic & Professional Foundation
- Education: A degree in any field is required.
- Core Experience: You must have 5–7 years of specialized experience in SEO, specifically focusing on SEO implementation and driving organic traffic growth.
- Platform Expertise: Proven experience with Google News is essential for this role.
- Project History: Mandatory prior experience in conducting site audits and leading SEO project implementations.
Technical Proficiency & Tools
- Optimization Toolset: Hands-on proficiency with industry tools such as Google Search Console, SEMRush, Ahrefs, and KW Finder.
- Analytics Mastery: In-depth experience with diverse website analytics tools, including Google News Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, and WebTrends.
- Technical Advantage: While not strictly mandatory, a working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and optimization is a significant added advantage, especially for the technical aspects of AEO.
Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
