Job Description – Quantity Surveyor (Civil)
Position: Quantity Surveyor – Civil
Experience: 5–10 Years
Location: Chennai / Project Site
Industry: Construction
Responsibilities
- Prepare BOQ, quantity take-off and estimates.
- Prepare rate analysis for civil works.
- Prepare client RA Bills and subcontractor bills.
- Check and verify site measurements.
- Monitor project quantities and costs.
- Prepare material reconciliation.
- Track variations, extra items and deviations.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Planning, Purchase, Stores and Accounts.
- Check drawings and specifications for quantity requirements.
- Maintain measurement sheets, billing records and commercial documents.
- Prepare quantity and cost reports for management.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 5–10 years of experience in Quantity Surveying / Billing.
- Good knowledge of BOQ, Estimation, Billing and Rate Analysis.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of material reconciliation and cost control.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Construction site experience preferred.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
