Job Summary
The Civil Site Engineer To oversee, manage, and execute daily construction activities on-site for our residential and commercial projects. This role bridges the gap between engineering designs and physical execution. Should ensure that projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in strict compliance with blueprints, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Site Management & Execution
Supervise daily construction activities on-site to ensure work aligns with structural drawings, architectural blueprints, and project specifications.
Manage and coordinate subcontractors, labor crews, and on-site technicians.
Set out, level, and survey the site using total stations, auto-levels, and other surveying instruments.
2. Quality Control & Assurance (QA/QC)
Perform rigorous checks on all incoming materials (concrete, steel, bricks, finishes) to ensure they meet standard specifications.
Oversee critical concrete pours, reinforcement structural checks, and curing processes.
Maintain accurate quality checklists and logbooks for various stages of construction (foundations, framing, MEP rough-ins, finishes).
3. Project Scheduling & Progress Tracking
Monitor daily progress against the master construction schedule and implement corrective actions if delays occur.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports (DPRs) for the Project Manager.
Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of materials to avoid project downtime.
4. Commercial & Bill Verification
Measure work completed on-site and verify bills submitted by subcontractors and vendors against actual quantities.
Assist in quantity surveying and preparing Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) for steel reinforcement.
Monitor material wastage and implement cost-control measures on-site.
5. Safety & Compliance
Enforce strict health and safety guidelines on-site, ensuring all laborers use proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Ensure construction activities comply with local municipal building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
