Role Overview
Yashotech Engineering is looking for a result-oriented Civil Engineer with specific experience in the architectural fabrication industry. This is a technical role that sits at the heart of our project lifecycle. You will be responsible for transforming architectural concepts into precise technical drawings, accurate material estimates, and final client quotes.
Key Responsibilities
- Drawing & Design: Interpret architectural blueprints and create detailed shop drawings using AutoCAD for windows, glass facades, and railing systems.
- Technical Estimation: Perform detailed material take-offs (glass, aluminum, hardware) and prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
- Site Coordination: Conduct site measurements to ensure fabrication drawings align perfectly with on-site structural conditions.
- Vendor & Client Interaction: Coordinate with material suppliers for procurement and assist the sales team in explaining technical specifications to clients.
- Quality Oversight: Ensure that all proposed designs meet safety standards and structural requirements for glass and metal installations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: B.E. / B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 1 years of experience specifically in the Glass, Aluminum, or Fabrication industry.
- Software: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory. Knowledge of MS Excel for estimation is essential.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of aluminum sections, glass types (toughened, laminated, DGU), and structural glazing systems.
