We are looking for bright, enthusiastic people with experience in the development sector for various opportunities in our Livelihood Initiative, which is based in Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand and revolves around the theme of Entitlements.
Broad Roles
The Resource Person will support the Livelihood Initiative of the Field Institute in two broad roles, around a particular theme of Entitlements.
- Supporting the district leader/block leader in integrating the livelihood operations at the sub-district/district level and,
- Thematic development and support to field teams spread in multiple geographical locations in Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh state—facilitate the formulation of projects, provide technical backing in their implementation, track quality, and movement vis-a-vis plans, mobilize program finances, coordinate stakeholders, anchor thematic studies, and contribute to problem-solving challenges of a particular theme.
Key Responsibilities
The Resource Person, while located in one of the geographies of the Livelihood Initiative, will be in a supportive role in pan-field operations to build a theme —creating capacities and ownerships of field teams engaged in action. The following are the key responsibilities
- Facilitate stakeholder-level engagements beyond the community (block, district & state).
- Capacitating Field Teams across the states around a particular theme.
- Develop thematic projects, prepare the design-for-action, and facilitate the roll-out.
- Anchoring the Content Development work in the Livelihood Initiatives in a theme.
- Contribute to field-based pilots, tracking results and documentation of new evidence from practice.
Eligibility
- Master’s degree in the related field of with minimum of 3 years of full time relevant work experience.
OR
Bachelor’s degree in the related field of with minimum of 5 years of full time relevant work experience.
- In exceptional cases, candidates not from the development sector but keen to learn and contribute to livelihoods work in the central tribal belt may be considered.
- Experience of working in the central tribal belt region to be theme of Entitlements in general will be considered as an added advantage
- Fluency in Hindi and English. Local language will be an added advantage
