Job Summary:
The CAD Engineer will be responsible for creating detailed AutoCAD drawings and documentation for Audio-Visual (AV) system designs and installations. The role requires translating AV design concepts, schematics, and layouts into accurate technical drawings to support project execution and installation teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare AutoCAD drawings, layouts, and schematics for AV projects (system design, signal flow, rack layouts, floor plans, and elevations).
- Interpret design inputs from Project / Design Engineers and convert them into professional CAD drawings.
- Maintain drawing libraries, revision logs, and drawing standards.
- Assist in preparing as-built drawings, cable schedules, and system documentation.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and Vendors for design updates and approvals.
- Ensure that all drawings comply with project requirements, standards, and safety norms.
- Support pre-sales and estimation teams with basic design inputs when required.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma / Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Civil) or related field.
- 0–3 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting, preferably in AV / ELV / MEP / Electrical industries.
- Proficient in AutoCAD (2D/3D); knowledge of Visio, Revit, or SketchUp is an added advantage.
- Good understanding of AV system layouts, wiring diagrams, and rack design.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and design documentation practices.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
