Job Summary
Sree Gokulam Speed & Safe is looking for a responsible and hardworking Loading Assistant to support daily logistics and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will assist in the loading and unloading of consignments, ensure proper handling of goods, maintain accurate records, and coordinate with the operations team to ensure timely dispatch and delivery.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in loading and unloading parcels, packages, and shipments safely.
- Ensure proper handling of goods to prevent damage during loading and transportation.
- Verify shipment details with invoices, manifests, and dispatch documents.
- Organize and stack goods systematically in vehicles and storage areas.
- Support the Operations Team in timely dispatch and receipt of consignments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the loading/unloading area.
- Report damaged, missing, or mismatched items to the supervisor immediately.
- Follow company safety procedures and warehouse operational guidelines.
- Assist in inventory movement and stock handling as required.
- Coordinate with drivers, warehouse staff, and hub personnel for smooth operations.
- Perform other logistics and warehouse-related duties assigned by the reporting manager.
Eligibility Criteria
- Graduation in any discipline.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse or logistics operations is preferred.
- Physically fit and capable of handling loading and unloading activities.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in shifts and under pressure to meet operational deadlines.
- Responsible, punctual, and disciplined.
