The Public Relations Officer (PRO) is responsible for maintaining positive relationships between the hospital, patients, attendants, and the public. The role involves handling patient inquiries, coordinating communication activities, supporting marketing initiatives, and ensuring excellent patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients and visitors with inquiries and provide necessary information.
- Coordinate patient appointments, admissions, and discharge-related communications.
- Handle patient feedback, complaints, and grievances professionally.
- Maintain good public relations and ensure patient satisfaction.
- Liaise with doctors, nursing staff, and other departments to resolve patient concerns.
- Support hospital marketing and promotional activities.
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, organizations, and referral sources.
- Organize health camps, awareness programs, and community outreach activities.
- Prepare reports on patient feedback and public relations activities.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and confidentiality standards.
