- Good understanding of patterns, measurements, and fabric layouts.
- Knowledge of fabric utilization and wastage control.
- Ability to manage and supervise a cutting team.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work as per production targets and timelines.
- Practical knowledge of Home Furnishing / Textile products.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily cutting activities as per the production plan.
- Ensure accurate cutting as per patterns, measurements, and specifications.
- Check fabric quality, width, shrinkage, and defects before cutting.
- Ensure maximum fabric utilization and minimum wastage.
- Supervise and manage the cutting team.
- Coordinate with CAD, Sampling, Production, and PPC teams.
- Ensure timely completion of cutting as per production requirements.
- Check cut panels for accuracy and quality before sending them to stitching.
- Maintain proper records of fabric consumption and cutting output.
