Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager / AGM – Liaisoning to manage government, statutory, regulatory, and local authority liaison activities. The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining effective relationships with government departments and regulatory authorities, ensuring timely approvals, licenses, permissions, renewals, and statutory compliances for the organization.
The role requires strong knowledge of government processes, excellent networking and communication skills, and the ability to independently handle liaison matters across multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage liaison and coordination with government departments, statutory authorities, local bodies, and regulatory agencies.
- Obtain and renew various licenses, approvals, NOCs, permissions, registrations, and statutory clearances.
- Coordinate with authorities such as Municipal Corporation, Development Authorities, Pollution Control Board, Fire Department, Labour Department, Electricity Department, Factory/Industrial Authorities, Revenue Department, and other relevant agencies.
- Ensure timely submission and follow-up of applications, documents, renewals, and statutory requirements.
- Maintain strong professional relationships with government officials and external stakeholders.
- Track the status of approvals, permissions, inspections, renewals, and other regulatory matters.
- Coordinate government inspections and ensure necessary documentation and compliance are in place.
- Identify potential regulatory issues and proactively resolve bottlenecks in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Liaise with consultants, legal advisors, contractors, and other external agencies wherever required.
- Maintain proper records of licenses, approvals, correspondence, applications, and statutory documents.
- Provide regular MIS and status reports to senior management on pending approvals, regulatory matters, and key liaison activities.
- Support management in handling government notices, queries, compliance requirements, and regulatory correspondence.
- Ensure all liaison activities are conducted professionally and in accordance with applicable laws, company policies, and ethical standards.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive database/calendar for licenses, renewals, approvals, and statutory deadlines.

Educational Qualification
Graduate / Postgraduate in any relevant discipline. Candidates with qualifications in Law, Management, Public Administration, or related fields will be preferred.
Experience
- 8–12 years of relevant experience in liaisoning, government relations, regulatory affairs, statutory approvals, administration, or corporate affairs.
- Candidates with experience in real estate, infrastructure, manufacturing, construction, industrial, hospitality, or other highly regulated sectors will be preferred.
- Should have established experience in independently handling government departments and statutory authorities.
Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
