Job Description – ITI Technician (Mould Maintenance)
Position: ITI Technician – Mould Maintenance
Location: Kadi Experience: Fresher & Experienced Both Can Apply
Key Responsibilities
1. Mould Maintenance & Repair
Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of injection moulds.
Diagnose mould-related issues and take corrective actions.
Perform polishing, fitting, and alignment of mould components.
Ensure proper functioning of cooling channels, ejector systems, and core-cavity parts.
2. Tool Room Operations
Handle mould dismantling and assembly activities.
Operate and maintain tool room machines such as lathe, milling, and surface grinder.
Maintain proper storage and identification of moulds and spare parts.
3. Production Support
Attend mould breakdowns during production.
Coordinate with production and quality teams for troubleshooting defects like flash, short moulding, etc.
Support trial runs and new mould development activities.
4. Documentation & Records
Maintain mould history cards and maintenance records.
Update preventive maintenance schedules regularly.
Record breakdown analysis and corrective actions.
5. Quality & Compliance
Ensure moulds meet quality standards before production.
Follow safety procedures and tool room discipline.
Support internal and customer audits.
Requirements
ITI in Fitter / Turner / Tool & Die Maker or relevant trade.
Basic knowledge of injection mould maintenance preferred.
Fresher candidates can also apply.
Good troubleshooting and teamwork skills.
