Job Description: General Studies (GS) Faculty – UPSC & MPPSC
Position Overview:
We are looking for a passionate, knowledgeable, and result-oriented General Studies (GS) Faculty to teach aspirants preparing for UPSC Civil Services Examination and MPPSC State Services Examination. The ideal candidate should have strong conceptual knowledge of General Studies subjects, excellent classroom teaching skills, and the ability to mentor students for both Preliminary and Main examinations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive classroom lectures for UPSC and MPPSC General Studies.
- Teach subjects including Indian Polity, History, Geography, Economy, Environment & Ecology, Science & Technology, Current Affairs, Ethics, and other GS topics as per the latest syllabus.
- Prepare high-quality study material, class notes, assignments, practice questions, and mock test papers.
- Conduct answer-writing sessions, doubt-clearing classes, revision sessions, and test discussions.
- Guide students on exam strategy, time management, and effective preparation techniques.
- Evaluate answer sheets and provide constructive feedback to improve students' performance.
- Keep course content updated according to the latest UPSC and MPPSC exam patterns, syllabus changes, and current affairs.
- Develop question banks and contribute to online/offline learning resources.
- Participate in seminars, workshops, counseling sessions, and student orientation programs.
- Coordinate with the academic team to improve course quality and student outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Master's degree preferred).
- Strong academic background in General Studies subjects.
- Prior teaching experience for UPSC, MPPSC, or other State PSC examinations is preferred.
- Candidates who have appeared in UPSC/MPPSC interviews or cleared any stage of the examination will be given preference.

- Ability to simplify complex concepts for students.
- Good classroom management and mentoring abilities.
- Proficiency in English and/or Hindi as required.
- Ability to create academic content and test papers.
- Basic computer skills, including MS Office and presentation tools.
