We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Storekeeper to manage inventory and ensure the efficient receipt, storage, and issuance of food, beverage, and operational supplies for our fine-dining restaurant. The ideal candidate will maintain accurate stock records and support smooth restaurant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and record deliveries from vendors and suppliers.
- Maintain proper storage of food, beverages, packaging materials, and operating supplies.
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies.
- Issue materials to kitchen and restaurant departments as per requisitions.
- Maintain stock registers and inventory records accurately.
- Conduct regular stock counts and assist with monthly inventory audits.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and storage standards.
- Coordinate with purchasing and operations teams for timely replenishment of stock.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store area.
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of experience as a Storekeeper, Inventory Assistant, or similar role, preferably in hospitality or restaurants.
- Knowledge of inventory management and stock control procedures.
- Basic computer skills, including MS Excel and inventory software.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
