Job Summary
The Senior Network Security Tester plays a critical role in ensuring the robustness and security of software applications. This position involves testing code against established quality standards and client requirements, particularly focusing on network security and cloud testing. By leveraging strong technical skills, the Senior Tester ensures that the software not only meets functional specifications but also adheres to security best practices, thereby safeguarding organizational assets and data integrity.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop And Review Test Cases Based On Functional Specifications And Software Requirement Specifications, Ensuring Comprehensive Coverage Of Network Security Aspects.
2. Execute Functionality Testing In Line With The Test Plan, Utilizing Tools Such As Wireshark And Nessus To Assess Security Vulnerabilities.
3. Contribute To The Development Of Test Plans With A Focus On Network Security Protocols And Cloud Infrastructure, Ensuring Alignment With Project Requirements.
4. Track Key Metrics Including Test Coverage And Defect Density Related To Network Security, And Publish Detailed Progress Reports To Stakeholders.
5. Collaborate With The Testing Team For Discussions And Coordinate With Clients To Provide Updates And Gather Feedback On Testing Outcomes.
Skill Requirements
1. Strong Understanding Of Network Security Principles, Including Firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems, And Encryption Protocols.
2. Experience With Cloud Testing Environments And Tools Tailored For Security Assessments.
3. Familiarity With Scripting Languages For Automated Testing In Network Security Contexts.
4. Good Analytical Skills To Assess Security Vulnerabilities And Performance Metrics.
