About the Role
Bayspro Skills is looking for a competent and confident Training Instructor to teach students of Logistics and Supply Chain Management. The instructor will be responsible for training learners for different job roles in the logistics, shipping, warehousing, procurement, distribution, and supply chain sectors.
We prefer candidates who bring a healthy mix of industry experience and teaching experience. The ideal candidate should be able to connect classroom learning with real industry practice and prepare students for employment in the logistics and supply chain industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach subjects related to Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
- Train students for industry-related job roles in logistics, warehousing, inventory, procurement, transportation, shipping, documentation, and supply chain operations.
- Prepare and deliver engaging classroom sessions, practical exercises, assignments, and case studies.
- Help students understand industry processes, documentation, workplace discipline, and professional expectations.
- Guide students in project work, presentations, assessments, and placement preparation.
- Keep updated with current developments in logistics, supply chain, e-commerce logistics, port operations, and international trade.
- Support the academic team in preparing training plans, course material, assessments, and student progress reports.
- Conduct soft skills and workplace-readiness sessions wherever required.

The candidate should be able to handle some or most of the following areas:
- Fundamentals of Logistics and Supply Chain Management
- Warehouse and Inventory Management
- Procurement and Vendor Management
- Transportation and Distribution Management
- Shipping, Freight Forwarding, and Port Operations
- Import-Export Documentation
- Retail and E-commerce Logistics
- Supply Chain Analytics and Reporting
- ERP / logistics software basics
- Industry communication, documentation, and workplace behaviour
Candidate Profile
- Preferred age group: 28 to 45 years.
- Candidates from Kozhikode / Calicut and nearby areas will be preferred.
- Prior work experience in logistics, supply chain, shipping, warehousing, procurement, retail distribution, or related sectors is important.
- Teaching or training experience will be an added advantage.
- A postgraduate degree is preferred, but not compulsory for candidates with strong industry experience.
- Strong communication skills in English and Malayalam are expected.
- The candidate should have a confident personality and good classroom control.
- Good analytical, research, and presentation skills are essential.
- Should be able to mentor students and prepare them for real job situations.
Qualification
- Postgraduate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, International Business, Operations, or related areas preferred.
- Graduate candidates with strong industry experience may also apply.
Experience
- Minimum relevant experience in logistics / supply chain / training is expected.
- Candidates with both industry and teaching experience will be given preference.
