About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development professional from the Import-Export (EXIM), Shipping, Logistics, Freight Forwarding, NVOCC, or Supply Chain industry. The role is responsible for driving business growth, expanding market presence, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders across the logistics ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and acquire new business opportunities within Shipping Lines, Freight Forwarders, Customs Brokers, Importers, Exporters, and Logistics Service Providers.
- Drive revenue generation through value-based selling, lead conversion, upselling, and strategic account management.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer profiling to identify growth opportunities and market trends.
- Manage customer onboarding and ensure successful implementation of company solutions and services.
- Deliver product demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions to clients and stakeholders.
- Build long-term customer relationships and act as the voice of the customer to improve service delivery and customer experience.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather market feedback, recommend product enhancements, and support new module launches.
- Prepare MIS reports, sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance analytics for management review.
- Ensure achievement of assigned sales targets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of EXIM, Shipping, Freight Forwarding, Logistics, and Supply Chain operations.
- Excellent sales planning, negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Strong analytical ability with experience in sales forecasting and market analysis.
- Proven track record of meeting revenue targets and driving business growth.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India.
Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
