Position: Internal Audit & Compliance ManagerIndustry: Jewellery RetailRole Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and sharp Internal Audit & Compliance Manager to oversee and audit all operations within the jewellery store. The ideal candidate will ensure financial accuracy, inventory control, and compliance with company policies while maintaining a proactive and approachable attitude. A good sense of humor and strong interpersonal skills are highly valued to maintain a positive work environment while handling critical responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular audits of gold, diamond, and precious inventory
- Verify stock against system records and identify discrepancies
- Audit cash transactions, billing, and daily sales reports
- Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls
- Monitor staff activities to prevent theft, fraud, or malpractice
- Review purchase entries, vendor invoices, and stock inward/outward
- Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to management
- Suggest improvements in systems and processes for better control
- Coordinate with store managers and accounts team for audit closures
- Perform surprise checks and random audits
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and inventory data

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Finance / Accounting
- Experience in retail or jewellery audit preferred
- 2–5 years of experience in auditing or inventory control

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
