Job Description – Sales Manager (ASM)

Role Overview
The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing sales teams, and expanding distribution channels across assigned territories, with a focus on Life Insurance, Mutual Funds, and Venture Capital products.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business targets across the assigned area
Manage and mentor a team of Sales Managers and Executives
Drive sales of financial products including:
Life Insurance
Mutual Funds
Venture Capital / Alternative Investment Products
Build and maintain strong relationships with:
HNI / Ultra HNI clients
Corporate clients and channel partners
Identify and onboard new channel partners (DSAs, brokers, wealth advisors)
Monitor team performance and ensure productivity metrics are met
Conduct regular market analysis to identify opportunities and competition
Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies
Coordinate with product and marketing teams for campaigns and product launches
Key Requirements
Proven experience in NBFC, Banking, or Financial Services
Strong knowledge of Life Insurance, Mutual Funds, and VC/AIF products
Experience in handling large teams and multiple locations
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
Strong network of clients and intermediaries
Relevant certifications (AMFI, IRDA) preferred
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
