Job Summary
The Senior Stores Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day store operations in a manufacturing environment, including material receipt, storage, inventory control, issue of materials to production, stock verification, documentation, and coordination with procurement and production teams to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesInventory & Store Operations
- Manage receipt, inspection, storage, and issuance of raw materials, consumables, packing materials, and finished goods.
- Ensure proper material identification, labeling, and storage as per company standards.
- Maintain optimum inventory levels to avoid shortages and excess stock.
- Conduct regular stock verification and reconciliation.
Documentation & ERP Management
- Maintain accurate records of inward and outward materials.
- Update stock transactions in ERP/SAP systems on a real-time basis.
- Prepare GRN (Goods Receipt Note), material issue slips, stock statements, and inventory reports.
- Coordinate with procurement and accounts for invoice and stock reconciliation.
Production Support
- Ensure timely material availability to production departments.
- Coordinate with production planning and purchase teams for material requirements.
- Track critical and non-moving inventory items.
Team Handling & Coordination
- Supervise store assistants, helpers, and warehouse staff.
- Ensure discipline, safety, and compliance within the stores area.
- Coordinate with QA/QC for material inspection and rejection handling.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure adherence to 5S, safety standards, and warehouse best practices.
- Maintain proper housekeeping in stores and warehouse areas.
- Support internal and external audits related to inventory and stores.
Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in stores/warehouse operations in a manufacturing company.
Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
