Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Design Coordinator to support and coordinate architectural design activities for ongoing construction and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of architectural drawings, project coordination, and site execution support while working closely with architects, engineers, consultants, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate architectural design activities and project documentation
- Review architectural drawings, layouts, and technical specifications
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams
- Ensure designs comply with project requirements and standards
- Monitor project timelines and coordinate design deliverables
- Assist in resolving design-related issues during execution
- Prepare BOQ, material specifications, and design reports
- Conduct site visits and coordinate with contractors when required
- Maintain proper documentation and design revisions
- Ensure quality and accuracy in all architectural submissions
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in architectural coordination or design management
- Strong knowledge of architectural drawings and construction processes
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or other design software
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced international environment
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
Preferred Requirements
- Experience in commercial or infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of international construction standards
- Experience working on-site with multidisciplinary teams
- Willingness to relocate or work in Africa
